Skyward New Hope Center
Located in the North Bend Area of Cincinnati ( north-western suburbs), New Hope is a very special therapeutic center for children with moderate to almost severe autism in grades K through 8. Children attend New Hope in much the same way they would attend school – a full day program following a traditional school calendar.
New Hope began with a clear vision of a program that could offer an outstanding, special education for children with Autism in a structured, yet nurturing atmosphere. New Hope Center provides children with unique instruction, inspiration and opportunity to learn and achieve their highest potential. While we do have academic groups that work on reading, writing, math, etc, our focus at New Hope is on the therapies that most benefit the child. We can implement an IEP from a public school district, but we can also write our own additional goals based on the needs, wants, and desires of the child and family.
We are committed to teaching and treating exceptionalities through research-based, best-practice methods, and assess the center regularly to make enhancements which meet our student’s individual needs.
New Hope Center provides a sense of “family” in working together to best serve our students. Our staff gives personal attention to every student, and we empower parents to actively participate in their child’s success by working as a team and building relationships.
We strive to build a therapeautic and educational center where students look forward to learning, where they feel confident and motivated to learn, where they are understood and empowered, and where everyone turns obstacles into opportunities.
Each family will work with our leadership to develop a customized plan of services for their child. Program services could include therapies such as communication/speech/language, occupational therapy, behavioral therapies and supports, self care, safety, and social skills, and academic skills. Plans will be reevaluated annually or more often as needed.
